وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُۥ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُۥ فُرُطًۭا

And do not obey those whose hearts We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who follow ˹only˺ their desires and whose state are ˹total˺ loss. Verse 28, Surah Kahf

فَأَعْرِضْ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا

Therefore withdraw (run away) from those who turn away from Our reminder (Quran) and desire nothing but the life of this world. Verse 29, Surah Najm

وَٱتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَىَّ

and follow the way of those who turn back to Me [in repentance] Verse 15, Surah Luqman

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَكُونُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

Believers! Have fear of Allah and be (in the environment) with those that are truthful.Verse 119, Surah Taubah

 الرَّجُلُ عَلَى دِينِ خَلِيلِهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ أَحَدُكُمْ مَنْ يُخَالِلُ ‏

A man follows the religion of his friend; so, each one should consider whom he makes his friend.  – Sunan Abi Dawud 4833

المَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

Everyone will be with those whom he loves Sahih Bukhari 6168

مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ, فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ

He who imitates (copies similar to) any nation is one of them.  – Abu Dawd

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِى لَهْوَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۢ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ

But there are some who purchases idle talk (inappropriate content, instruments and useless talks) to mislead people away from Allah’s Way—without any knowledge—and to make a mockery of it. They will suffer a humiliating punishment. Verse 6, Surah Luqman

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍۢ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟

O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate.Verse 6, Surah Hujrat

مِنْ حُسْنِ إسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ

Part of the perfection of one’s Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him (i.e., give up useless things) – Tirmizi 2318 & Ibn Maja 3976
